When the load stays damp
Repeated drying cycles are a sign that the laundry routine is no longer working normally.
If towels, jeans, or everyday clothes come out damp after a full cycle, it is easy to keep adding time and hope the next run catches up. Instead, note whether the dryer is warm, whether the change happened suddenly, and whether it affects every load. Those details are more useful than repeatedly running the same clothes through more heat.
Keep up the normal lint-screen care described in the appliance instructions, but do not reach behind a connected dryer or take it apart to chase a cause. If the concern keeps returning, a service request gives you a clearer path than losing another afternoon to a dryer that will not finish the job.
